The West Coast features many nice sandy beaches such as Flic-en-Flac, Wolmar, Tamarin and small fishing villages Like Case Noyale. The South-West has a very distinctive landscape characterized by the mountainous and dry climatic conditions together with great views on the Sea.

The scenic drive down to Le Morne, a UNESCO preserved site due to its historical heritage, and all along the South-Coast is amazing. There are very charming fisherman villages from Baie du Cap to Souillac & Gris-Gris which is dramatically perched on top of a cliff.

Driving along the East Coast is an unforgettable experience. With its numerous small fishing villages and scenic drive, there are many popular attractions around.
Trou D'Eau Douce is an authentic fishing village which has still kept much of its charm. From there, you can reach L'Ile aux Cerfs, a must-go destination, as it features one of the finest and most exquisite beaches on the Island.
For Golf players, the East Coast has some of the finest Golf Courses on the Island. L'Ile aux Cerfs has an amazing international golf-course designed by Bernhard Langer and further up East, Anahita competes with it's newly Ernie-Els Golf Course.
Mahebourg, the closest town to the SSR Airport, is also a very nice place to visit with its waterfront. You can visit the Historical Naval museum or head towards La Vallee de Ferney, one of the most beautiful areas around. Ferney is also a historical area as the Portuguese first landed in Ferney and many historical monuments are still around.
